The Tuckoe Chunky Scarf is named for Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, New York. As soon as it would get cold enough in late Fall, when I was a kid, we would go there to go ice skating. For the longest time I couldn't quite pronounce "Tuckahoe" calling it "Tuckoe" but everyone know what I meant when I said it.

I remember being excited to see the leaves changing color because that meant it was almost ice skating season. Driving up the Saw Mill River Parkway and seeing the colors of fall to go ice skating is one of my happiest memories. This scarf is a celebration of that time and all the beauty of cozy season.

#6 Super Bulky Wool (I used Betta Knit Cool Wool & Dip Dyed Cool Wool) - Approx. 140 yards
US 50 / 25 mm Straight Needles
Large needle to weave ends
Felting Needle & Felting Pad

SIZING: 78” x 10” Approx finished measurement

NOTES:

Gauge: 4 inch sq = 6 stitches x 5 rows in garter stitch

Be sure to measure and to check your gauge

Slip first st off needle with yarn on wrong side
