Beginner Lace Triangle Shawl

This Stunning Starter Lace Shawl is part of the Learn To Knit Series I designed for Stunning String Yarn and is great for beginner knitters. It has a great repeat to let you dive into lace knitting wit confidence!
Supply List:
Color A: Stunning String Sport Orange Fever / 1 skein 325 yards
Color B: Stunning String Sport Gilded/ 1 skein 325 yards
Color C: Stunning String Sport Roof Tile / 1 skein 325 yards
US 6 / 4 mm circular needle 40”

BO – Bind Off
CO – cast on
K – knit
P – purl
Kfb – knit in front and back loop (increase by 1 st)
st(s)- stitch (es)
k2tog – knit 2together
yo – yarn over
RS – Right Side
WS – wrong side
NOTES:
Gauge: 4 inch sq = 28 stitches x 44 rows in garter stitch
*** Gauge is not extremely important for this pattern.
The most important thing is to have a knitted fabric that you like.

WITH COLOR A:
Cast on 5 sts.
R1(WS): k to last 2 sts. kfb, k1. (1 st increased, 6 sts)
R2(RS): k1, kfb, k to last 2 sts, k2tog.
R3-97 repeat R1 & 2 alternating, increasing by 1 st every other row. 55 sts at the end of R97
COLOR B - LACE SECTION:
R98: Repeat R 2
R99: Repeat R1.
R100: K1, Kfb, *K2tog, Yo* repeat * to * to last 4 sts, K1, K2tog, K1.
R101: Repeat R1.
R102: K1, Kfb, *k2tog, yo*, repeat * to * to last 3 sts then K2tog, K1.
R103: Repeat R1.
R104-123: Repeat R100-103 5 times 68 sts at the end of R123.
COLOR A
R124 (RS): Repeat R 2
R125 - 135 repeat R1 & 2 alternating, increasing by 1 st every other row. 74 sts at the end of R133
COLOR C - LACE SECTION:
R136 – 161 REPEAT R 98-123 87 sts at the end of R161

R161 - 173 repeat R1 & 2 alternating, increasing by 1 st every other row. 93 sts at the end of R173
