When we had the Dueling Diamonds event, everyone got the new Smart Stix crochet hook and knitting needles in their kits and loved them. The knitting needles are made from aluminum and include markers per inch allowing you to use them as a measuring tool as well as knitting needles.

This makes it a cinch to measure as you go and of course helps you keep gauge. YES I SAID GAUGE! I love that I can measure as I go and don’t have to search out for another tool - such as my tape measure.

The Smart Stix crochet hooks are made from the same top quality lightweight aluminum as the knitting needles and feature a wonderful flat thumb rest built in. A feature I often look for in hooks that makes it easier for me to adjust my grip or shift the way I hold my hook for lengthier stitching sessions.

Each crochet hook is also color coded in one inch increments which again - yes - helps you measure and check gauge on the go without having to hunt down a tape measure!
