Three NYC Gals and a Crochet Scarf Like None Other

The Skyline Scarf brings us together with two of my favorite humans for a collaboration born of love for fiber, New York city and celebrating the life we love! If you have followed this blog or me for more than five minutes then you know how important my New York City roots are and how much I believe in empowering and lifting up other creative women.

So when I was working on my Shapes Of Things Series, all inspired by New York City architecture, I had an idea… what about a collab in this vein with some of my fellow NYC gals!

Oh and I knew just who to wrangle for this project.

Fellow New York designer Katie of The Queen Stitch embodies all that is creative and inspiring. She is constantly blowing me away with her use of lines and shapes and stitch work. I knew she would be perfect to capture this vision in stitches.

We then brought on board New York based Indie dyer Stephanie of Asylum Fibers who has an eye for color like none I have seen. I literally want any yarn she makes. For real. Her colors are INSANE and Stephanie and I instantly knew she could bring that NYC Sunset to life in color.

A series of emails, lots of ideas and it was quickly obvious we were all on the dame page. We wanted to bring you a design that would be fun to make and take you on a journey to a sunset over the city we love so much.

And now, several months (and emails) later, here you have it: The Skyline Scarf brought to you by 3 Fiber Fabulous Gals. Grab some yarn and celebrate with us.
